Cookie Policy for kafar.eu
Last updated: October 23, 2026.
§ 1. General Rules
The website may use cookies, local storage and similar technologies. Storing information on a user’s terminal equipment or accessing information already stored there is governed by Article 399 of the Polish Electronic Communications Law. Prior consent is required for technologies that are not necessary to provide a service expressly requested by the user.
Where a technology also results in the processing of personal data, the relevant legal basis under the GDPR applies, in particular Article 6(1)(a) for processing based on consent.
§ 2. Strictly Necessary Technologies
Consent is not required only where storage or access is necessary for transmission of an electronic communication or for providing a telecommunications or electronic service expressly requested by the user. This may include technologies required for security, contact-form operation and remembering the user’s cookie choice.
§ 3. Optional Categories
- Functional – additional functions such as an embedded interactive map;
- Analytics – measuring traffic and website usage;
- Marketing – advertising, campaign measurement or marketing profiling, if such tools are introduced.
All optional categories must be switched off by default.
§ 4. Consent Panel
- REJECT – keeps only strictly necessary technologies active;
- CUSTOMISE COOKIES – allows separate selection of each optional category;
- ACCEPT ALL – enables all optional categories currently available.
Rejecting and accepting should be equally easy to find and use. Optional choices must not be pre-selected. Refusing optional technologies must not block access to the website’s core content.
Consent can be withdrawn or changed at any time through the visible ‘Cookie settings’ link. Withdrawal should be as easy as giving consent.
§ 5. Map and External Content
Where the website uses an interactive third-party map, the full map should not load before consent if loading it stores or accesses information that is not necessary to provide a service requested by the user. Before consent, use a static preview or a blocked placeholder with a ‘Display map’ button.
§ 6. Current List of Cookies and Similar Technologies
The current list of technologies should be displayed automatically in the ‘Cookie settings’ panel. For each item, provide at least the name, provider, purpose, category and duration. The list must reflect the live production configuration and must not contain fictional or sample cookie names.
§ 7. Evidence of Consent
The consent-management system should allow KAFAR to demonstrate the user’s choice and the version of the information/settings applicable at the time of consent, without collecting more data than necessary.
§ 8. Browser Settings
Users may also remove or restrict cookies through browser settings. Restricting strictly necessary technologies may affect certain website functions.
